A commitment that translates into concrete choices.

For Hausbrandt Group, sustainability is a guiding principle that touches on every dimension of the business. A commitment that translates into the promotion of a responsible development model, balancing efficiency, environmental protection and attention to people's well-being. The concept of sustainability is applied along these main lines:

Environmental sustainability

Social sustainability

Will and commitment

The commitment to responsible and sustainable growth stems from the vision of Martino Zanetti, Chairman of Hausbrandt Group, which combines family tradition, concern for cultural heritage and sensitivity to beauty and art.

A vision that is shared with the Vienna-based Hausbrandt Foundation, guardian of the company's cultural value.

ENVIRONMENTAL CERTIFICATIONS AND STANDARDS

Materials and sustainable packaging

A concrete strategy, which starts with the selection of materials and reaches every stage of packaging, reducing environmental impact and promoting responsible practices.

Sustainable packaging

Reduction of plastic content in C/LDPE packaging -27.5% per 1 kg pack of coffee beans and use of up to 42% recycled plastic for PolyKeg® beer kegs. Use of compostable materials for packaging and service materials where possible, and preference for FSC-certified paper in POP materials and communication tools.

Compostable & Fairtrade products

The Group's commitment to a fairer and more sustainable supply chain also translates into concrete product choices. Examples are the Unico capsules, compostable and Fairtrade certified, and the biodegradable Espresso and Decaffeinated pods, designed to reduce environmental impact without sacrificing quality.

Sustainability in every detail

From printing to stationery: reduction of paper materials such as catalogues and brochures, use of recycled plastic for promotional and everyday items.
