La Fondazione
The Hausbrandt foundation was created in Austria by president Martino Zanetti, with the purpose to foster cultural and artistic events, doing studies and research on various topics, with a special attention to theater, musical architecture, literature, art, music and historic and aesthetic-philosophical issues.
The Hausbrandt foundation’s project includes different activities, including study grants for young researchers, the organization of Summer and Winter schools in collaboration with national and international research centers, conferences, art exhibitions and concerts, and the publishing of original works with high scientific value. One of the focuses of the Foundation is the Secret Renaissance, so the cultural trends of that historic period are object of study to obtain a more comprehensive and innovative insight in the Renaissance thinking and its influence on the present.
Such an endeavor is led by the idea that culture, understood as common good, has an extremely high educational value.
